TEMI provides tools to get the maximum learning with the minimum work
The “satisfaction questionnaire” filled in by TEMI teachers after each training session provides an interesting overview of the results achieved so far by the consortium. Overall, teachers are satisfied by the TEMI CPD (>80%) and comments are generally positive and range from the enjoyment of the sessions - “If you want to engage and inspire this is for you.” (a British teacher) to the applicability of the methodology – “It provides tools to get the maximum learning with the minimum work” (a German teacher).
Significant progress was made since the pilot phase with regard to more direct links to the science school programmes. TEMI partners designed dedicated activities to help teachers tackle the curriculum and presented lesson plans about different topics.
However, results also show that the “applicability” standard scores lower than “enjoyment” and “interest”, the other terms of evaluation. This is a clear indication that over the next months, partners will further increase the focus on the practical implementation of TEMI in the classroom.
