TEMI book of mysteries
The TEMI consortium is currently busy preparing a book of mysteries, which will include 27 lesson plans reflecting the TEMI methodology. Each lesson plan will introduce a mysterious phenomenon and explain how to present it in the classroom, including practical tips to help teachers transfer learning responsibility to the students and engage the class. The book – with mysteries related to physics, chemistry, biology, natural sciences and mathematics – will be published online and distributed at conferences and workshops. It will be a precious tool for those teachers who cannot attend the TEMI trainings but are interested to renovate their teaching skills with innovative pedagogies. In order to provide European teachers with a collection of stand-alone lesson plans, the TEMI partners are discussing how to incorporate elements of the teachers’ trainings in the book. A first version of the book of mysteries will be released at the end of 2015.
